About Sunrise Computer Services Sunrise Computer Services began as Great Lakes Technology Solutions in 2001. With a vision to fill a dire need with local residents and businesses for a reasonable, common-sense technology company, owner Joe Sheldon started in his apartment in East Tawas. The company quickly outgrew the apartment and moved into a commercial building with retail and office space. However, with the purchase of a new home, and the realization that profit margins didn't support a commercial retail space, the company was moved into Joe and Nichole's new home in 2003. The business has been running out of the house on Wilber Road since then, as primarily a service business. In 2008, Joe and Nichole decided it was time to re-focus the business, and changed the name to Sunrise Computer Services. Part of the re-focusing project includes returning to the retail business. Today, we can serve many needs for our residential and small business customers. We currently serve Iosco, Ogemaw, and Arenac Counties in Northern Michigan. Our philosophy always has been and will continue to be to offer great services, at the best prices. We charge flat hourly fees, with no on-site, fuel, or any other kind of surcharges. There are no hidden charges, ever! Joe has been involved in computer repairs for many years, and has served as a Network Administrator since 2000. He is also Certified NetWare Administrator. |
